As Big Ben rang in 2004, it signalled the start of a photographic project that would see 24 graduate photography students from across the country document every hour of the first day of the New Year. Since then, the photographers have embarked on a hugely ambitious photographic project that will span a generation. For 24 years, on the first day of every year, each one will take an image in their allotted hour between midnight and the end of the day. 24 hours. 24 photographers. 24 images. 24 years.
